From Broken Parts to Production-Ready Solutions

Reverse engineering, 3D scanning, CAD modeling, and 3D printing — integrated into one practical workflow.

We help you recreate, improve, or develop parts that actually work in the real world.

Functional 3D Printing

Reverse Engineering

Part Reproduction

When Replacement Isn't Available

Not every part can be ordered off the shelf.

We work with customers who are dealing with:

Discontinued or hard-to-source parts

Damaged or Missing Features

Poor Aftermarket Fit

Warped or Worn Originals

Our Engineering Process

Ship Part

Ship your original part to PartForge 3D

Scan

We 3D scan your part using dedicated scanning equipment

3D Model

A 3D model is created for your part

Design Adjustments

3D model is adjusted for part warping or reconstruction of missing features

Production & Ship

Your part is manufactured and sent to you with your original part

More Than a Typical 3D Printing Service

Anyone can print a part.

Getting it to fit, function, and last is something different.

Reconstructing design intent — not just copying geometry

At PartForge 3D, we focus on:

Accounting for wear, damage, and real-world conditions

Building models that are usable in manufacturing

Delivering parts that perform as expected

Original automotive air duct from classic car.
Problem

Automotive air duct came in with broken mounting tabs, air diffusers, and had warpage from age.

3D model of an automotive air duct
Approach

We modeled from known reference points to create a model that corrected the part warpage and reconstructed broken features.

3D printed automotive air duct
Result

We delivered a cost-effective part that fit better than the original and is performing great.

CAD modeled bracket.
Problem

A bracket was needed to retrofit an electric drive motor on a manual bead roller.

3D printed bracket prototype.
Approach

Using 3D printing, we were able to prototype designs affordably before committing to a final metal part.

Metal bracket attaching an electric motor to a bead roller.
Result

The mounting bracket works to attach the new motor without modifying the bead roller.

Top: custom printed firewall passthrough with electrical connectors. Bottom: original firewall passthrough.
Problem

A classic car needed a solution to retrofit a modern wiring harness.

3D scan of firewall passthrough.
Approach

We designed a new firewall passthrough plate to accommodate circular body connectors.

Custom firewall passthrough installed in vehicle.
Result

Installed, the new plate allows for modern connectors and quick maintenance.

Additional Services

Beyond part reproduction and reverse engineering, we support product development and precision manufacturing needs.
Functional Prototyping

Prototypes built for testing, validation, and product development.
